Bulgarian artifacts are being displayed in the halls of the President's Palace Quirinale for an
one-month period. In Hall 1 is displayed a model of the prehistoric village of the Kodzhadermen
mound dating from the late chalkolit, a statue of the Mother Goddess from the chalkolit village of Telish, zoomorphic vessel from Stara Zagora, golden jewellery dating from three thousand tears before Christ found round Dabene.
In Hall 2 are displayed: golden and silver finds from the sepulchral mound the Big Kosmatka, the
head of the Thracian king Sevt III, found in front of the tomb, a golden mask thought to have
belonged o the Thracian king Teres, an athlete's seal ring from the Saint mound, the Thracian golden
treasury of Plovdiv found in the vicinities of the village of Chernozem, as well as the golden wreath of the goddess Nike, a ring, applications, a knee-piece and and silver
rhytons fro the grave of a Thracian ruler dating from the middle of 4th century before Christ.
The silver treasury of Lukovit, the marble head of the Rome Emperor Karakala, who was one of the builders of Quirinale found round the city of Svishtov, the golden
seal ring that belonged to the Bulgarian Tsar Kaloyan and the psalter of Tsar Ivan-Alexander dating
from 14h century.
After the opening of the exhibition talks between the presidents Parvanov and Ciampi are going to take place. The Bulgarian Head of State will visit the San Klemente basilica and will place flowers on the grave of Saint Kiril on the date of the saint's death, namely February 14th.
