Hotels and restaurants in the complex have not build up own purification stations
There have been abuse disclosed concerning the issuing of building permits by the Directorate on the National Construction Supervision, the Mayor of the City of Varna Kiril Yordanov announced. He revealed that in the last year there have been issued total 22 permits for building of local purification stations at restaurants and hotels in the Golden Sands Beach Resort. Their owners, though, have unduly joined the main purification system of the complex, thus causing it to work at peak capacity.
Until now investigations have been made on 10 sites showing that there aren’t any local purification stations. Three of these sites have even passed accession commissions’ examination which means that there have been abuses by officials too.
Some of the permits have been issued by the Directorate on the National Construction Supervision. Investigations with respect to abuse as by officials with the supervisory bodies and accession commissions continue. The Mayor has sent premonitory letters to Regional Directorates on the National Construction Supervision and to the Directorate on the National Construction Supervision to prevent owners of the other 19 site from passing through the accession commission examination in case they have failed to build their own purification station.
